Tips to Control your Gestational Diabetes

 When you found you were pregnant I bet it was the most exciting news right? Well for me it was especially being our first baby. Eating healthy for you and your bundle of love inside is very important. At 24-28 weeks women get tested with a Glucose test that ranges from an hour and no eating is allowed during that time. After you play the waiting game for results to come in..
Results come in within a few days of testing, usually if something comes out abnormal you get to come in for another test that will be for a 3 hour period which you wont be able to eat in between those hours. Depending on how those results come after you may be sent with a specialist to help you control your diabetes.

  • Sparkling Water (Go for Sugar Free if your trying to cut down on a sugary soda habit)
